Welcome to Redactle.ai ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These terms of service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services and applications (collectively, the "Service"), including any content functionality and tools offered through Redactle.ai (the "Site").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
In order to access features, you will be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
When using the Service, you must agree not to:
Violate any laws or regulations
Upload or transmit content you do not have the right to use
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
Interfere with the security or performance of the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms.
Data Ownership & Rights:
You retain all ownership rights to the documents and data you upload. By using our Service, you grant Redactle.ai a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and use your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Redactle.ai uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to identify text in documents and an AI engine to identify sensitive data, combined with human review to identify and redact sensitive information. All files are exported in PDF format with full content redaction, including complete metadata removal.
Important: While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee error-free, legally compliant, or universally suitable results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating the final output before relying on it for legal, regulatory, or operational purposes.
Redactle.ai is a paid service. New users receive a limited trial that includes 5 free redactions for one megabyte PDFs, intended solely for evaluation purposes. After the trial, a subscription is required for continued use—with no file size restrictions.
Access beyond the initial trial is available through paid subscription plans. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis, which may be monthly, annually, or another interval based on your selected plan.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew under the same terms unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime through account settings or by contacting support.
You must provide a valid payment method (credit card or other accepted method) to subscribe. By providing payment information, you authorize Redactle.ai to charge all applicable fees and taxes.
Payment Failure: If automatic billing fails, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your subscription without notice. Access may be revoked and unused redactions or active processing may be deleted.

We may modify pricing or subscription plans at any time. We will provide notice before changes take effect. Updated pricing applies at the beginning of your next billing cycle unless you cancel beforehand.
All intellectual property related to the service, including software, trademarks, logos and content is owned by Redactle.ai or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written consent.
Our Service may integrate or link to third-party websites, services, APIs, tools, or resources not owned or controlled by Redactle.ai. These links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.
Disclaimer of Third-Party Liability:
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for third-party content, availability, policies, or practices. Redactle.ai shall not be held responsible for any harm, loss, or damage caused by your interaction with third-party services.
Recommendation: Carefully review the terms of service and privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with. Your use of third-party services is entirely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redactle.ai and its directors, employees, contractors, partners, affiliates and service providers are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.
We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations, be free of legal or compliance errors, or be free of viruses or harmful components.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the final redacted output and ensuring it meets your legal compliance and operational requirements.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redactle.ai and its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our Site or by email. Continued use of Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute or legal proceeding arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
